This school was on a previously undeveloped site, thereby the project was literally built from the ground up; including tying-in utilities, sewer, storm and fire water services and other necessary infrastructure, and the processing of many easements and right of way dedications. Extensive site grading was required, as this project sat atop an undeveloped, granite hilltop. In addition to all of the on-site grading and improvements that were required, this project also required road widening and street improvements to Twin Oaks/San Elijo road to accommodate the anticipated increase in vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
